This bold, bright chime is tuned to its namesake melody, Morning Mood, from Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite #1, opus 46.
This opening to the suite depicts the crisp, clean air of a beautiful desert morning. The melody is a musical palindrome; it's the same whether played backwards or forwards. As a result, the melody is recreated on the Morning Mood Chime no matter what direction the striker is rotated.
